We stayed at Cabin #14 last weekend and truly enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was stocked nicely with pots and pans, view of the water was picture perfect, and saw maybe 5 other people the whole time we were there. We stayed with 4 adults, 2 children, and a dog, and this stay was everything we needed! We utilized the bikes and kayaks.. yes, there are paddles and life jackets (not sure if these other reviews just didn't read signs or give 1 minute to find them). We will likely stay here again!

Lost Lake Lodge in Nisswa, MN is truly a hidden gem. From the moment we arrived, the entire atmosphere felt warm, peaceful, and inviting. The ambiance is everything you hope for in a lakeside retreat — serene water views, cozy pathways through the trees, and a sense of calm that hits you the moment you step onto the property. The staff goes above and beyond in every way. They are friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making your stay wonderful. Every interaction felt personal and thoughtful, which made the experience even more special. The food is absolutely outstanding. Every meal felt carefully crafted, fresh, and full of flavor — the kind of dining you look forward to all day. You can tell the kitchen cares deeply about quality and creativity. Our cabin was beautiful, clean, and incredibly comfortable. It had that perfect mix of rustic charm and modern touches, making it both luxurious and homey. Waking up to the quiet lake and ending the day by the fire was pure perfection. Overall, Lost Lake Lodge exceeded every expectation. It’s peaceful, beautifully maintained, and full of heart. We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone wanting natural beauty, comfort, and truly exceptional service.

We had an awesome time at Cabin Number Nine! The cabin was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was perfect – easy access to the lake for swimming and boating. The small lake was so relaxing, and having a bar and restaurant on-site was a big bonus. Definitely recommend – we’ll be back!

11-14-2025 This place rocks! My family and friends decided to choose Lost Lake Lodge as our destination for a Church based religious retreat for a few days. This was a very good decision. From arrival I felt this was a good decision. This is a resort but with the small back woods cabin feeling mixed with modernized cabins parked up on the hill overlooking the small lakes. First night was very cozy, and luck of the draw was also Primerib night for dinner. The dinner experience was top notch, very attentive service by Johna. Johna help explain the menu and what was good. In my group we ordered the Primerib/Short back Ribs/Walleye dinners to share. The Primerib was cooked and seasoned well, Short Back ribs were tender, and the Walleye moist and flackey. The food was above what to expect. Good job cooks!!! Also enjoyed fresh steamed Carrots/Backed Potatoe/Cheese Curds/and Spinach... The photos of the food im posted to also acknowledge and appreciate the time of presentations. The cook in the kitchen really was impressive. Now off to describing the large cabin we rented and stayed in: Very new, clean from top to bottom, spacious, very nice layout, Fooseball in basement living room room, multiple bathrooms, and a very stylish kitchen. This place feels right at home. Second day here we had splendid service by Becca and were thrilled to meet the owner. The owner is a nice seasoned gentleman and very humble and thrilled to hear our First time experience at his resort is honestly amazing and a true 5 out of a 5 star! Keep up the great experiences you offered us to all others. We will be returning

We stayed in cabin #8 over Valentines weekend. It was absolutely perfect! The Temps outside got quite cold, like close to -20° I believe it was and we were snug and warm. When we got there we were surprised to find a lovely bottle of wine for us to celebrate our Anniversary. It was so unexpected and sweet. I have years of experience with housekeeping in hotels so I notice everything and the cabin was spotless. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed was comfortable and the sheets, blankets and towels were super soft. We were very happy and had a wonderful weekend. We were even blessed to have a beautiful snowfall while we were there. Everything was perfect!

This place is great. We had found it when looking on air b n b but will come back booking directly through them. Went with a group of guys for a men’s outing and we are planning to come back with our families next time. The place we rented had so much room and the beds were super comfy. We tried out the restaurant on site and went there for dinner every night the food was soooo good and Jonah the bartender/server was Awsome! We also booked a fishing outing with Walleye Dan who was recommended in the booklet at our cabin and it was great! Caught me biggest fish ever.

Lost Lake Resort— Thank you! We had such an incredible time! Staying in late November, when I first walked into the lodge, it felt like stepping straight into a Christmas movie. I loved the live music, the Christmas decorations, and the warm, wholesome feeling that carried through our entire stay. It wasn’t just the décor— it was the entire atmosphere, the staff, and even the obvious closeness they shared with the local guests. You could immediately tell how connected everyone was, and it brought such a sense of warmth and comfort. Every single person I met was so genuinely kind, friendly, and accommodating. I said it numerous times throughout my stay: it truly felt like a family. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or accommodating. Our cabin was gorgeous and bigger than I was anticipating! We had everything we needed. The lakeview from our cabin was amazing, and the nature and scenery at the resort were both beautiful and peaceful—exactly what I was hoping for and needed. A special thank you to **Jonah** for the delicious drinks, **Tony and Alex** in the kitchen (I’m *still* thinking about that Cajun Penne), and our waitress **Becca** for the great service and warm smiles! I arrived a bit late, so I didn’t have the opportunity to meet the check-in attendant, but my friend did and she shared nothing but positive things about her interaction. There were a couple of large group events happening during our visit, and not many staff on shift, but the staff handled it with grace—if they were feeling chaos, you couldn't tell, and it was honestly so heartwarming to see how everyone pulled together as a team and jumped in wherever needed, without even needing to be asked. You can see how much heart this team puts into their work, how much they care about creating a meaningful experience for their guests, and how deeply they care for one another. It was my first time here, but it definitely won’t be my last— I’m already looking forward to my next stay. I am also excited to check it out sometime in the summer to take a boat out, or fall when the leaves are just changing — I can only imagine how that would intensify the beauty and serenity! Definitely a place worth your while to check out. There’s something for everyone, and I promise you will leave with a full heart and a refreshed, peaceful soul!

My wife and I have been traveling to Nisswa for many years. We stayed at the same location for years but we started to lose are enthusiasm for the location, due to the expensive rates. Last year I did a google search and came across the Lost Lake Lodge. What a wonderful find that ended up being. The website was great and really sparked my interest. I called the resort and spoke with a wonderful young man. He was extremely friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. At the end of our conversation, I booked a 4 night stay. When we arrived this year, we were very impressed by the beautiful, serene location. The grounds were gorgeous, our cabin was clean and spacious, and the views of the lake were splendid. The staff was also wonderful throughout our stay. For the time of year that we go up, early September, the pricing for these wonderful accommodations is exceptional! At the end of our stay, we stopped in the front office and booked our stay for next year. I would highly recommend the Lost Lake Lodge!
